Rubik’s Cube is a 3D combination puzzle invented by Hungarian architect and professor Ernő Rubik in 1974.
The classic cube has six colored faces, each divided into 9 smaller squares. You can rotate its layers to scramble the colors. The goal is to rearrange it so that each face contains only one color.
A standard 3×3 Rubik’s Cube has an enormous number of possible arrangements—about 43 quintillion—but every valid scrambled position can be solved in 20 moves or fewer if the best possible moves are used.
